James Elliot Robinson

After a career as an advertising art director I began focusing on creating my own images.   Long walks with my dog led me to parts of town I’d never seen, down alleys and across bluffs, into neighborhoods I didn’t know existed. With camera in hand I began to shoot.  For me, photography is intuitive.  My approach to the subject is often surprising, even to me.  My photographs are an expression of what I am seeing.  The passion I feel while  creating, comes from my core and has always been the driving force in my life. As such, I compose each image with the hope that the viewer will see what I see.
